POLICY ON THE
PRIVACY OF MEMBERS' PERSONAL DETAILS
·
A
member's full name and residential address must be entered into the Register of
Members, which, by Law, may be inspected by other members.
·
We
will collect other information to allow the Association's Management Committee,
and authorised staff, to contact members.
·
We
will not disclose any information that we gather about a member to any third
party, unless the member has given the Secretary written consent to release
that information.
·
A
member may withhold any of the 'Contact Details' and may add to, amend or
delete any detail by giving written notice to the Secretary.
·
Contact
details (which are kept IN CONFIDENCE) are full name, residential and postal
addresses, contact phone numbers and email address, plus other details you may
wish to include (e.g. partner's name)
It is also
UNDERSTOOD that in becoming a member you will AGREE that :
a) your name, residential address and the history of your membership
of the Association will appear in the Register of Members, which may be
inspected by any member;
b) your details from the Register of Members, and only those
personal Contact Details that you have supplied (as above), may be circulated
to staff and Members of the Management Committee of the Association, but not to
any other person without your written authority.
